Persian Bazar

May 6, 2026

I entered the colourful cave - quizzically.
Following an instinct as well as an impulse.
Arriving - I found a table set for me.
Welcome the man said.

Tea, chocolate and dates were intimately offered.
I partook and a gold thread cast an invisible
anchor into a future.
Trust my heart whispered.
I’m afraid my ego replied.
Go with the wind my soul breathed.

I’ve returned to the Persian Bazar to refill my cup.
I take delicate sips - like a rose petal chalice
sitting at my lips with soft dew water as a sacred
offering.

This is a realm of magic and mystery I am
tentatively touching.
Velvet and parchment scrolls gather in the ether.
Watch as my embroidered slippers arrive from the night sky.
Dancing steps make my heart flutter.
