I was born with green eyes. In the five elements, I am wood. I am the earth sign of Capricorn. This earth planet is my home, but like the pine tree, I connect up through my roots, trunk, branches and leaves to the higher cosmic realms which light-code nourish me.

I use colour in my paintings the way a dancer follows a beat. Each shade of green having a different tone and resonance. Our souls are colour coded too. The wisdom of colour is ancient and magical.

A Celtic kingdom of such myth and legend, that walking on her soil feels like walking back in time and through time. A timeless - lost in time experience. When I was in The Burren following ley lines and the poet John O’Donohue, I felt the rhythmic sound of the harp lamenting an old song. The Celts were here in Portugal. I can feel their old ways in the rock. I sense their goddess wisdom in the remote areas where tree circles hide in seclusion.

Let green be forever my signature hue.
