Today I visited my dear friends Raul and Fatima at their fabric shop in Porto. They were my first friends in the city, when I arrived as a stranger and pilgrim. They lit up my heart with their welcome as we chose a pink lining for the Porto cape I was making. I go back regularly to buy material for shamanic ponchos and bags. We laugh together. We sing together. We have cried together.

Their small enterprise and relationship culture with their clients, depicts what it means to be a proud Portuguese. This special love is what makes Porto such a vibrant place. I am honoured to be a citizen of the HEART LOVE city. And I am SO proud to be Portuguese. ❤️
